Electric cars, the most cost effective way to travel.

The rising cost of fuel and the amount that transport emissions are contributing to climate change means we are all more aware of the need to make our travel more efficient.

Carwow.com recently analysed the fuel costs of the average domestic petrol car and compared it to its diesel and electric counterparts. It also calculated the average cost of travel across public transport to see which was most efficient cost per mile.

It’s no surprise at all to see that the electric car came out on top running for on average 102 miles on just £5 worth of electricity (calculated on an average energy tarrif).

The interesting thing is, if this electricity been produced from a domestic solar system then this figure would’ve been less. Zero in fact.

Are you ready to see how much you could safe on your domestic bills by going solar?
